Hi all,
I want to find the best pharmacy in Cambodia (PP or SR).
I have heard lots of stories of fake medications being sold and wish to avoid this if possible for obvious reasons!
Any thoughts on the best pharmacy with the best stock range etc..

Ucare is also on there however they try to sell drugs from suppliers they have commercial agreements with and I find they rarely have the drugs my doctor prescribes for me.

Almost all of the pharmacy in phnom penh sell the same things. The thing is, when you buy, you tell them you want a french made medicine, it conveys you're willing to pay for the best quality ones.

Pharmacie de la gare has a real pharmacist. U-care has sales people in lab coats who have no idea about medicine. The stuff is real, but they can't even read French. I've had a guy swear to me the French medicine he sold me was one thing, but when I checked with a friend it was another. Potentially life-threatening. Know exactly what you want with these guys.

De La Gare pharmacist told me confidently and certainly that the french version of what i was looking for was ok during pregnancy - an internet check on the main ingredient and reading the instructions in the packet told me that it was definately NOT recommended during pregnancy - just double check everything anyway.
