Real Estate resources for Bangkok?

I'm looking to rent a room for the month of August in BKK but their expat-advisory boards are pretty dead. Does anyone have ideas for how to find a room/apartment in Bangkok?

Hi Kat,
while studying at Thammasat University a couple of years ago, I stayed at PSB Apartments in Siriraj (across the river from the Royal Palace with an amazing view of the Chao Phraya and Wat Phra Gaeo). Not the cheapest place to stay but with extremely nice apartments and much better a deal than anything I found in Phnom Penh. Don't think they have a website, though.
The University website had some more hints for foreign students on accommodation. If you wanna give it a try, look out for the International Program page at: http://www.tu.ac.th
