I think the CDI needs replacing, that's $400, and it needs a new piston. It was purchased from Vay he has always done the work on it. You can talk to him to get a second opinion. I'll post a picture asap.

Whay year is it again?
$1500 + the CDI is a bit high unless its a young bike dont you think?

1996. Vay from Vay's Bike Shop said it was worth "$1500-$1600". Even if you have to buy a new CDI that's still only $1900 for a CRM.
What do you want to pay?
