Pacific Airlines has decided to postpone opening two new routes, between Ho Chi Minh City and the towns of Da Lat and Buon Ma Thuot, due to the continuation of soaring fuel prices.
The airline will return airfare tickets and service fees to passengers who have already booked flights on the delayed routes which were expected to open in August, the airline said.
Pacific Airlines has also announced that as of May 23, the airline will be renamed Jetstar Pacific Airlines under the trade name Jetstar Pacific and trademark Jetstar.
Jetstar Pacific will handle all sale activities and advertising in Vietnam for global Jetstar.
