Mekong River Documentary Debut, Hanoi

Filming for the "Sharing a River" series took three years, from 2005 to 2007, cost US$2 million and involved 120 people from the six countries the Mekong flows through.

The series includes stunning aerial footage of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta in Vietnam, Angkor Wat in Cambodia and Luang Prabang in Laos.

From early April, the film will be broadcast simultaneously on the national televisions of the six co-producing countries: China; Myanmar; Thailand; Cambodia; Laos and Vietnam.

The film will be broadcast internationally in English at a later stage.

In Vietnam, it will be shown on the Vietnam Television VTV1 each weeknight.
