As part of the Meier's Weltreisen Far East Live Seminar, the hotel had played host to the Vietnam Group of travel agents who were treated to the hotel's signature service.
The Meier's Weltreisen Far East Live Seminar is the biggest incentive and educational event, organised for counter staff from 216 top selling travel agencies in Germany and Austria.
As part of the activities leading up to the seminar, groups of tour agents are sent to hotels in different countries to experience first hand the range of services offered. 12 groups of 18 people each had pre-tours to Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Singapore/Bali, Myanmar, Thailand, China (3 tours), Cambodia & Laos and Philippines. They will then meet in Shanghai this year where each group will present its experiences, giving publicity to the participating hotels and countries.
The Vietnam Group enjoyed Horison's wide range of facilities and its hospitality.
Consequently, Hanoi Horison Hotel is now one of four hotels in Hanoi that will be recommended by Meier's Weltreisen to German tourists planning their holidays here.
