At the show, the designers, including French Velerie McKenzie, Italian Bianco Levrin and Spanish couple Laura Fontan and Diego Cortizas, will treat audiences to their latest stunning collections.
Based on their experiences living in Vietnam and marked by their great attachment to the country, the European designers' creations are a glamorous Viet Nam-Western fusion. The designs are characterised by impeccable craftsmanship and quality, and use of variety of Vietnamese silks and fabrics.
While Velerie McKenzie's designs were inspired by nature, the creations of Spanish designers Laura Fontan and Diego Cortizas show uniqueness through the careful blending of colours.
Each collection in the show shares the common feature of being strongly inspired by Vietnamese culture and values while representing and embodying the tastes and sensitivity of both Vietnamese and international customers.
There will also be one Vietnamese designer joining the foreign designers to present her creations at the show. Having graduated from the London Fashion Institute in the UK, Bui Minh Trang now runs her own fashion brand, Kelly Bui, in Ha Noi.
"My collection, Vong Xoay (Whirl Circle), includes designs that express womanhood and show Asia's gratefulness," the 26-year-old ex-model said.
Conducted by the Delegation of the European Commission to Vietnam along with the embassies of France, Italy, Spain and Dep Magazine, the fashion show will take place at the Viet Nam Museum of Fine Arts, at 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street.
