“The Appeals Court of Cambodia has delayed a hearing on former national military police officer Chea Ratha over the crime of an acid attack on Ms. Ya Sok Nim, the aunt of Ms. In Soklida, who had a lesbian relationship with Chea Ratha.
“The second delay was made again without giving a clear reason, like it was also with the first delay on 22 October 2009.

“Phnom Penh: In the evening of 23 October 2009, the Minister of Information and spokesperson of the Royal Government, Mr. Khieu Kanharith, told Kampuchea Thmey, ‘Samdech Hun Sen did not say that he will provide a permanent house to Mr. Thaksin to stay in Cambodia. But, Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra can come to Cambodia. Samdech Dekchor Hun Sen was quoted incorrectly by journalists.’ Many Thai senior officials, including Prime Minister Abhisit Vijjajiva and Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban reacted strongly, saying that they will seek the extradition of Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, if he comes to Cambodia.
“The Royal Government of Cambodia expressed the firm position not to extradite Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra to Thailand if he comes to Cambodia.

“Phnom Penh: An opposition party parliamentarian and a civil society organization support the head of the government creating a mixed working group to work on criminal cases at different irregular law implementation units.
“Recently, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Akkak Moha Senapadei Dekchor Hun Sen, released a decision dated 4 September 2009 to create a mixed working group to examine and take action on criminal cases at different law implementation units; the working group has 26 members from different sections of the government.

"Phnom Penh: The International Co-Prosecutor, Mr. William Smith, sent two documents for investigations (the second and third introductory submissions) to the Co-Investigating Judges [at the Khmer Rouge Tribunal] in order to open the way for the Co-Investigating Judges to investigate more suspects.

Well, Article 31 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia speaks very clearly:
"The president of the Cambodian People's Party and of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and also the head of a Phnom Penh municipal coalition working team, Samdech Akak Thoma Pothisal Chea Sim, reminded commune, district, and municipal governors and councilors to ensure more trust towards citizens who are voters, and to understand them while implementing the traffic law.
