Sports in Seoul

Seoul is no stranger to sports. Thanks to Seoul hosting the 1988 Olympics, a great number of Seoulites have taken to exercise and sports. The last few years have seen a variety of western style gyms and yoga studios open up. There are a variety of traditional sports including Taekwondo, hiking and more, but recently formed enterprising koreans have opened the doors to new sporting activities such as water skiing, windsurfing, mountain biking and more. Whatever the activity, there is a chance that it is available, just not so easy to find and also you more than likely will not find only korean language staff.
