International SOS has appointed Mr. Lee Boon Huat as Regional General Manager, South and South East Region.
Based in Singapore, Boon Huat is responsible for business development and marketing management, as well as quality service and operating excellence of the nine markets in his region. The region includes 12 offices, five clinics and eight alarm centres.
"International SOS has been actively expanding across the Asia region especially in the last five years with double-digit growth annually. To drive continued growth and ensure quality service in these markets, we are creating this new position of leadership for the South and South East Asia region, covering the countries of Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, the Philippines and India," said International SOS' Regional Managing Director for Asia - Mr. Tan Mui Huat. "Boon Huat brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the company. He will help these markets respond nimbly to business opportunities and accelerate their growth further."

Boon Huat joins International SOS from the IT industry, where he started in sales. Following a successful sales career, he moved on to several regional sales and general management roles in leading IT companies. His regional responsibilities extended to Asia Pacific where he provided leadership in business development and grew the market share for the companies he led. He has demonstrated the ability to build and grow business, establish strong management teams, build strong partnerships with clients and channel partners to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
Boon Huat reports to Regional Managing Director, Mr. Tan Mui Huat, who oversees the entire Asia region.
