The Australian Wine and Food Exhibition 2008 will be held on May 23-24 at the Ho Chi Minh City’s New World Hotel.
At least 50 premium wine labels will be featured at the exhibition which will be complemented by quality Australian food products. A gala dinner will be held on the evening of May 23 to feature sumptuous Australian cuisine. Each course will be complimented by top quality Australian wine.
The festival is open to the general public on Saturday from 12pm to 5pm. There will be a large range of different wines available for tasting and an opportunity to talk with winemakers. Some quality Australian food will also be available for sampling.
The event is part of a programme to celebrate the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Australia and Vietnam. Tickets for entry to this event will be available on May 1 at a cost of VND160,000 per adult.
