The 2 floor, 3+ bedroom and 2 bath house has all the issues of old Khmer houses but it is a fantastic location with a yard that has fruit trees and potential, and a wooden veranda overlooking it all. The location is walking distance to Java cafe, and the Monument. This house is suitable for people who can deal with an old house and the problems that come with that, it is rustic and has some odd features but also has charm. The landlord is a nice and reasonable guy, but does not spend too much on the cosmetics of the house. The house has air conditioners in all the rooms and is sparsely furnished with a few wicker things only.
The rent has now been reduced to $1200
