Hello,
I just arrived in Phnom Penh and am looking for a two bedroom apartment or for two rooms in a shared apartment or house of expats in BKK or in/near the Riverside areas. Looking to pay between $150-$200 a room, with a max of $250 per room if we can’t find an alternative. Having Aircon would be ideal, 2 bathrooms, internet, and being close to restaurants and bars would be great, but finding a secure building in a safe area is the priority. Not looking for anything too fancy, just the basic necessities in a good area.

My friend Drew and I will be in PP for 3 to 6 months working for a U.S. based microfinance NGO organization called Kiva. I am assigned to a local bank called AMK and will be working out of an office near the intersection of Sothearos and Sihanouk. Drew will be working at HKL bank. I moved here from Minnesota and Drew is coming from Washington D.C. We are friendly and laid back, and we look forward to meeting other expats in PP.
