look for a place to live in pp. 1 or 2 bedrooms with a great view in a quiet area. preferably a western style with a khmer touch. rent ranges between $400 and $700.

Hi!
I have something exactly matching your description. It's a 4floor building with the river view, on Tonle Sap Street, No112. The area and style just as you mentioned. 1 bedroom between 400$ and 500$ depends on floor and side of the building, and penthouse for 1200$. Furnished, parking ,security. Would you like to go and check it out?

I can pick you from any place that you point and we will go together to see the penthouse
Btw. we also have 2bdr apartment at Street 111 (walk away from Olympic Stadium) - its not a penthouse but price is 550 USD -furnished, security, car parking, receptionist.
I attach the photo.

I took that ferry the last weekend - was amazed that they run every 15 mins - and yup - for 500 Riel its the best way to get across the Tonle Sap. I will be using the ferry to get to snow's bar from now on. not sure what time the last ferry leaves to come back.

well the last ferry leaves : according to the schedule at 8pm, according to what ferry operators say at 9pm, and in case you are ready to pay one dollar can take you at 10pm Smile I will do further investigation on ho it works in practice thou. as I'll be moving to the other side soon.
And the good news is that ferry starts going at 5am so depending how long you wane stay in the snow's bar, if long enough you can still use it Smile
