One bedroom apartment with spacious living area and high ceilings rcently vacated on St 294, house no. 40C between St 63 and Monivong Blvd.

Landlord is the best, i.e. most responsive landlord I've ever had - ever. He and his family lives downstairs and next door but they were very respectful of my privacy, I had many people stay with me for both short and long periods of time (one friend for 3 months for an internship) and friends over a bunch and it was never a problem, they even reduced rent by half when I went home for a month and wasn't occupying the apartment. The whole family is friendly and he speaks excellent English. I really can't stress enough what a great landlord he is and what a good experience I had living there.

Great location, too, with lots of families around, super friendly expat couple live upstairs. Lots of stuff is within walking distance: Lucky supermarket, a 24hr store on the corner, St278, Bayon Bakery, Chinese noodle house, etc. etc. Super safe and never any blackouts in 1.5 years. Apt comes mostly furnished and with A/C in the bedroom. My rent was $250/month, electricity is super cheap at the local rate of 720riel/KWh, also Cintri is $.80 and water is ridiculously cheap.

I loved living there and would recommend it to anyone, landlord was flexible on lease length and even wrote a very clear leasing contract himself protecting both myself and his interests. I would strongly urge anyone looking for an apt on their own to check it out!
