(Posting this here as well as in the General Real Estate forum because by posting it in the real estate section it is not showing up in the new and active threads link)

I am trying to do a very rough budget and gather some advice for a basic renovation/tidy up of a shop house unit into a basic take away F&B unit.
I really want to keep costs to a minimum but still get a modern yet simple take away outlet renovation: hopefully just tiling the floor, painting or tiling the walls, and constructing a sales counter and kitchen/work space with kitchen cabinets. (Maybe depending on the property I rent I will need to make a new door/entry way)

I am hoping that anyone who has done similar could offer recommendations?

Is it easier and best to get a firm to do all of the interior design and construction? Anyone have an interior/exterior design and construction company recommendation?

What (roughly) would an design/construction company charge for a simple town-house F&B outlet from design to finished unit(sandwich bar style)?

Would it be much cheaper if I got the place cleaned up, fixed, tiled etc. and then brought in cabinet makers to fit a bar/counter and kitchen units?

Any help, tips, recommendations and advice greatly appreciated.
