Hi all,
Does anyone have any information regarding the rights a past employee can present to an employer in Phnom Penh due to unfair dismissal?
Not once but twice this has happened, there has been no legitimate reasons or any discussion prior to the dismissals, however this organisation continues to use my likeness in their advertising and website for their own personal gain.
This is from an expat to a western run organisation.
Thanks
send an email or hand deliver a letter - to the person above - go as high as you can - stating that you request that all images and references to your involvement in their program be removed - failure on their behalf after a certain period - send the a second request - failure after that - go public - 3rd letter - include copies - scan - jpegs of the public notice.
If they are a legit western run organisation, they should be aware of "false and misrepresentation in advertising"
after that - just name and flame the bastards if they keep it up - shame

I'd second Anthony's general strategy.
Write 'em, keep it brief and civil.
Suggest that if they don't take down the offending images (note location) you may need to contact their clients to keep the record straight.
If they completely ignore you and keep on, there are a number of options. You can contact their web provider.
You can even place an ad stating that your new private efforts are in no way associated with your former employer.
I do think it's important to show you are a class act. 'Name' as a last resort. I prefer not to flame, it's warm enough in Cambodia already.
It's cool all fixed now, thanks guys ;-)x
