HI everybody,
I am a journalist with the Phnom Penh Post.
I am writing a story on the very low quality standard of massage in Cambodia. In most Western countries, massage therapists have to undergo at least one year of professional training before they are allowed to lay hands on a patient/ client. It has a reason: an untrained massage therapist that has no knowledge of the human anatomy can make a back problem worse or even create a problem where there was none before.
I have heard of cases where people needed to seek a pysiotherapist after having received a bad treatment at a massage parlour.
Is there anyone here who also made that experience and wants to share it with me?
