Sales Executive, Customer Service Executive with Damco

Damco was born from the merger of Dutch freight forwarding company Damco Sea & Air and the forwarding activities of Denmark-based DSL Star Express. Our starting point was in 2005, when the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group acquired Damco Sea & Air in connection with the acquisition of P&O Nedlloyd. Established in 1988, Damco Sea & Air was P&O Nedlloyd’s forwarding arm. Together with Maersk Logistics’ air freight and landside services, DSL Star Express is renamed ‘Damco’ on 1 July 2007.

With some 3,600 colleagues spread across 110 countries world-wide, the new Damco will continue to provide freight forwarding services to our existing and new customers. Our expanded global network is based around local branch offices with local staffs who are closely in touch with conditions in each of their markets.

With the dynamism of business in Cambodia, we are searching for suitable candidates to fill in the following positions :

A. Damco Sales Executive :
Responsibilities:

* Identify business opportunities, develop sales plans to execute to sell Damco air/ ocean and LSS products
* Meet/ exceed volume/ revenue targets within each product group
* Build and maintain customer relationships to develop damco market share
* Assist management and team in achieving best possible rates from service providers
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with all service providers
* Regular sales visits to target client base

Requirements:

* Good command of English
* Self motivated and able to work with colleagues
* Able to build relationships with clients as well as internal customers
* Industry experience in sales would be added qualification
* Networking skills

B. Damco Customer Service Executive
Responsibilities :

* Be the ambassador for damco in Cambodia
* Build damco brand to be the most sort after provider in identified market segments
* Attend to customer inquires keep a record of sales opportunities
* Manage all inbound out bound operations and documentation activities
* Update in house systems to provide visibility to customers and clients
* Update in house finance systems
* Liaise with other damco offices to manage the information flow
* Monthly reporting

Requirements

* Good command of English
* Self motivated and able to work with colleagues
* Proven networking skills
* Good analytical and decision making skills.
* Able to build relationships with clients as well as internal customers
* Industry experience would be added qualification
* Fresh graduates and 4th-year students are also encouraged to applied
