Program Officer with Srer Khmer

Srer Khmer, a Cambodian NGO, non-profit and non-partisan, dedicated to the support of sustainable socio-economic development through research, training, education, and community development by promoting participatory learning, farmer-led initiatives, farmer networking, sustainable agriculture and natural resource management.

Srer Khmer is seeking for one qualified candidate to fill the position of Programme Officer. This position is based in Phnom Penh with regular travel to the target provinces and target villages of Srer Khmer.

Responsibilities

* Work closely with the Management Team of Srer Khmer to design the projects for seeking funds from donors.
* Take responsibility for the project coaching, technical backstopping to the responsible projects and reporting.
* Provide leadership and management roles to the assigned projects and the organization.
* Provide technical supports to project staff on project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
* Budget control and make sure the project expenses are accountable
* Have strong ability to maintain relationship with local authority, NGOs/IOs, donors and government agencies.

Essential Requirements

* University degree (preferable Master degree) in agronomy or livestock with at least 10 years of work experiences.
* Experiences in proposal writing and report writing.
* Experiences in designing and facilitating training related to integrated farming systems, marketing and business planning management, natural resources and community development.
* Experiences in project costing and budget control.
* Good communication skills, teamwork and strong commitment to work with the poor.
* Professionally fluent in English and Computer literate.
