Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator with World Vision

The overall purpose of this position is to lead the monitoring and evaluation, documentation and dissemination of evidences and lessons from health and nutrition program within and outside of World Vision Cambodia.
Post-Graduate qualification in Biostatistics/ Statistics/ Demography/ Population Sciences / Public Health / Nutrition or other related disciplines
Excellent skills in data management, analysis and presentation: high level of proficiency with common data management programs, especially SPSS, EpiInfo, MS Access, others
At least three years experience public health programs with significant roles in research/monitoring/evaluation/ knowledge management/a strong track record of participation in research and publications. Proven evidence of expertise in writing scientific documents in public health/ nutrition
High level of expertise and experience in designing and coordinating population-based surveys, including data analysis Creative and innovative in gathering new information as well as sharing and dissemination
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in a cross-cultural environment, and ability to analyze and solve problems, persuade, network and negotiate.
Strong planning & organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and to work gracefully under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to work well with national staff and international staff, and a passion for capacity building, staff and organizational development. Previous experience in supervising staff required.
Demonstrated ability to live and thrive in a different country or cultural context. Willingness to learn Khmer language is preferred
High level of proficiency in computers: Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes or similar database, email and Internet.
Fluency in English required, both written and spoken.
This position is based in the World Vision Cambodia National Office in Phnom Penh. Periodic travel to the provinces is required (approximately 5 days a month). International travel of approximately 5 days per quarter may be required.
