Places to stay in Bali???

Hi,
I'm traveling from Phnom Penh to Bali February 25 - March 3. I arrive really late [around midnight] on the 25th and need to book in advance. Looking for a place to stay near the beach in a calm area. I've been told Kuta is where the party is; however, I would like a few days of relaxation as well. Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated.

I Have lived in bali,and it is difficult to really know what you want and how much you want to spend.Anyway,if you want peace and quiet and not get hassled to much,Sanur is where to go.I recommend www.swastika-bungalows.com or cheaper and good,includes a good breakfast>Yulia 1 Bungalows.
Now as for Kuta,Legian or Seminyak.http://www.tunehotels.com/ or in Legian Adi's Inn off Jalan Sahadewa (garlic lane)Has swimming pool.
