Island trips

There are many islands nearby within 40 minute to 2 hour boat trips. Many of the islands have great snorkeling and beautiful white sand beaches. Day trips to these islands are very popular and can easily be arranged, however some of the islands have small rustic bungalows on the beach for rent making overnight stays possible. There is not much by way of luxury but the small restaurants and bars have good food and cold drinks. Arrangements for day trips can be made through your guesthouse and prices start at around 6$ to 10$. The standard package will take you to 1 to 3 islands where you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, lunch and some drinks before heading back.

Fishing

There are many great fishing spots in the waters around Sihanoukville and the islands. There are a large variety of species in the area including the treasured barracuda. Many of the tour operators offer fishing trip and some even specialize in it.

Water sports

A few place around town rent water sports equipment like jet skies, kayaks, and other boats. The most popular places to rent things are Sokha Beach Resort and Oters Nautica.
