Books

Most book vendors in Siem Reap focus on Cambodia and Southeast Asia related books, Angkor temple guides, and travel books. Near the Old Market there are a few book stores, such as Monument books, D's Books, and the Siem Reap Book Center, that buy, sell and trade books on all subjects. They also have a good collection books in French, German and other languages. Book stands on the riverside of the Old Market offer temple guides and Cambodia-related books, so do small vendors near the temples.

Newspapers

The Bayon Pearnik can be found at guesthouses and restaurants The Phnom Penh Post (twice monthly) and the Cambodia Daily (daily) are the local English language newspapers.

Cambodge Soir (daily) is the local French language newspaper. Local and international papers including the Bangkok Post, The Nation and The Herald Tribune are available at Angkor Market.
International papers are usually available by 11:00AM.
