Tapas are the result of hundreds of years of Spanish culinary history and evolution. The best recipes for simple, tasty and healthy food have become a standard and a way of life for Spaniards.

Few other countries enjoy their food as much as Spaniards do. Spain’s philosophy of food is to get the most possible flavor out of raw ingredients, using very few sauces and condiments. Vegetables are grilled or baked, to enhance their flavor, and then roused with fresh olive oil to complete the experience. Prawns are simply grilled with salt or quickly cooked in garlic and olive oil. Clams are cooked in white wine or just grilled and covered with fresh oil, garlic and parsley. The result is always delicious.
