The live music scene in Phnom Penh, just keeps getting better and better. If last nights show by Supabad is any indication of what we can expect in the venues around town soon then a big thanks to the venues bringing in live acts.

James Brown (Craig Chambers) in his red sequined suit lead the crowd for 3 hours down memory lane with classics such as I Got You, Papa's Got a Brand New Bag and of course, Get Up (I Feel Like Being A) Sex Machine, had the crowd on the FCC top floor seriously rocking, so much in fact that one guest booked into to rooms at "the F" was heard to complaining that he could not sleep.

The only female member of the band Moi Litchfield, held her own last night against all the boys in the brass section with a superb effort on the trumpet.

Supabad a 10-piece band out of Bangkok is made up of music teachers from the New International School play again tonight at Memphis Pub from 10PM

Of course Supabad is not the only show in town tonight. Other live music gigs in town include some great local bands such as the Mekong Pirates at the FCC, Phnom Penh Hippies at Chinese House, Balgass at Meta House, and the fundraiser at Sharky bar for Wildlife Alliance with CSP heading up the main act supported by The stone daddies.

Enjoy your Saturday Night in Phnom Penh.
