Sao Leads Giants to Victory to end the year on High

Cambodia born Stefane Dol Sao made a season High 14 points to give Vorchdorf Giants a 81:41 points win over Dynamo Lui Linz in the last game of the Austrian Second State league Regular Season.
The 26 year old Stefane who made some cameo appearances for the Cambodian Basketball team to the 26th SEA games in Jakarta and has since last month returned to his club In Austria where he has continued to put on some great displays as Giants seek to make it into the playoffs.
According to reports from Giant Official Website Stefane seems to have finally arrived in Vorchdorf as his all round performance has continued to inspire the team to victory.
The last game of the regular season for the GIANTS ended with a clear 81:41 (48:24) success against the second team of Dynamo Lui Linz. The game was also the last game in 2011.
"From the start, the GIANTS showed they will not allow any slack in this game and were fully concentrated from the beginning. Minute by minute the lead was further extended and were therefore able to celebrate an unchallenged +40 points home victory at the end" reports the official website.
The highlight of the final game was certainly the great display of newcomer Stefan Sao (14 points, he seems to have finally arrived in Vorchdorf) and the first two points of Joung Center Marko Plavsic in the first team of the GIANTS.
The GIANTS are now going on a well-earned Christmas break and will start preparation for the play-off for promotion into the first state league in the new year.
