Cambodia is to stage its biggest ever international music event with a concert by world-wide singing sensation Ronan Keating.

Ronan (30) - famous for number 1 selling songs 'If Tomorrow Never Comes', 'Life's a Rollercoaster' and 'When You Say Nothing At All' as well as his work with platinum selling boy band Boyzone - will perform at a special concert to be held at the Indoor Arena at the Olympic Stadium on May 9th 2007. The performance is expected to start at 7.30pm (1930).

"I expect it to be the biggest international music event that Cambodia has ever seen. We are expecting tickets to sell out within days of going on sale," said CTN General Manager Glen Felgate.

CTN is organizing the event but the concert will not be broadcast live on television.

In its organization of the event CTN has been dealing with regional concert promoters Midas Promotions.

"Ronan expressed a keen interest in coming to Cambodia so we have worked hard to make it happen," said Midas Promotions' Nigel Peters . "Ronan puts on a great show and we expect the Cambodian concert to be spectacular."

Ronan Keating will be performing in Bangkok and Taipei as well as Phnom Penh as part of a 3-date tour. The Asian tour follows his South African tour in December 2006 and January this year.

Ronan - who has enjoyed chart topping success with boy band Boyzone - launched his solo career with the release of his debut album entitled Ronan Keating. Since then he has sold 29 million albums worldwide and has had number 1 hits with "When You Say Nothing At All", "Life Is A Rollercoaster" and "If Tomorrow Never Comes". Ronan's latest album "Bring You Home" was released in June 2006.

Ronan - who is also renowned for his charity work - has had sold out tours in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, the Gulf, South East Asia and India.
