Foreign Based Basketball Players arrive for Pre SEA Games preparations

The Duo of American based Cambodian Born Basketball Players, Pek Mith and Sop Oeun Stormed the Kingdom at about 10pm Tuesday night from their USA base ahead of the 2011 SEA games which will be held in Indonesia.

"We are so excited to be here, it feels good to come to my home country" and elated Pek Mith stated moments after arriving the Phnom penh International Airport. "Its my first time here but I feel much at home"echos Sop Ouen. Both Players were received on arrival by National Basketball coach, Mr. Austin Koledoye and the Secretary general of the Basketball Federation, Mr, Mak Chanphirun.

Pek Mith, former Lowell High school Point Guard and Sop Oeun who plays college basketball in Fresno, California will be joined by Sweden based Bi Thach who will arrive later on Wednesday. The trio will join the local players for a training session on Wednesday evening ahead of this weekend's friendly game with the Ho Chi Minh City Basketball Federation Team expected in the Kingdom on Thursday 20th.

The Cambodia national Team will also take part in the China ASEAN Invitational Basketball tournament coming up from 24th - 30th November which will serve as warm up games for the team before the SEA games.

The forth player Stefan doll Sao who plays for UCCB Gaints of Austria will join the trio on November 2nd before the team jet out for the SEA games on November 9th 201
