CTN Announces Newest Reality Television Series
Cambodian Television Network (CTN), the number one broadcaster in the kingdom announced that its newest series will marry two of Cambodia's most popular pastimes.
CTN introduced Cambodia to reality television with the hit series CTN's Coffee Shop. That landmark was followed up with CTN's Pizza House. Now, CTN is combining Cambodia's newest viewing sensation with its oldest living heritage.
Kun Khmer Champion turns the reality television spotlight on Cambodia's traditional national sport; kickboxing. Kun Khmer traces its origins back to the time of Angkor and Kambuja. Its association with Cambodia's greatest-ever king, Jayavarman VII, is almost inescapable.
Produced by veteran Cambodian sports broadcaster Ma Serey and co-hosted by Ma Serey and national kickboxing champion Ei Phouthang, Kun Khmer Champion gives 12 young hopefuls under the tutelage of 2 of Cambodia's most legendary kickboxing trainers the chance to fight their way to stardom.
Who will be the Kun Khmer Champion?
Kun Khmer Champion will be launched with a live press conference at the Cambodiana Hotel at 11:00 am on Friday the 22nd of February.
The first episode of Cambodia's latest reality television series, Kun Khmer Champion, will air at 1:30pm on Saturday the 23rd of February.
